Arizona Wing Change of Command

Colonel Joseph Jensen, Commander, Southwest Region cordially invites you to attend a Change of Command Ceremony at which Major John W. Kruger will relinquish command of the Arizona Wing Civil Air Patrol to Colonel (Select) John M. Eggen on Saturday, the twelfth of January, two thousand and eight at ten o'clock in the morning, in the Thunderbolt Club (O'Club)

Civil Air Patrol, the official auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, is a nonprofit organization with almost 60,000 members nationwide. It performs 95% of continental U.S. inland search and rescue missions as tasked by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center. Volunteers also perform homeland security, disaster relief and counterdrug missions at the request of federal, state and local agencies. The members take a leading role in aerospace education and serve as mentors to the almost 25,000 young people currently participating in CAP cadet programs.
